PASSAGES

This photography work sparked from preliminary photography college classes. The Appalachian landscape that I grew up within became the subject of my work. In this series I focused on the decay of these spaces, more specifically how these Appalachian spaces became abstracted and dream-like with the state of decay. These spaces became liminal and monolithic, making these images transformative to the space and transcendental.
